As NPCC missionaries in Queretaro, Mexico it has been a great opportunity for us to be a part of the Americas Partners Conferences the past two years. It is unique and special to us personally because we are able to experience the conference from the perspective of a North Point Community Church member as well as an overseas missionary partner.
As NPCC missionaries, we are always challenging the process overseas, which can be a spiritually and physically exhausting effort, so it was a blessing to be in a place of restoration and care. Another great benefit to us as ministry partners was being able to share ideas and learn from others who are implementing relevant church models around Latin America.
As we are working with Horizonte, our local church, to create a relevant local church model it was valuable to meet with the team from Merida,
Mexico who are a little further down the road to help us with clarifying
our vision and strategic direction as a church. We were and continue to be able to glean from their experience as nationals implementing ministry strategies in a very similar culture.
