THE STRATEGIC CHURCH

Our friends Jenny and Jeff from NPCC World Missions team came down to work with the leaders at Horizonte church here in Queretaro.

It was a great to evaluate and clarify the vision of the church.

We truly desire to see a church that is making true disciples and ensure that everything we do is a step toward that end.

GETTING BIGGER

The team just got bigger as Justin & Lluvia are back after getting married and spending a year in the states and Jessica Stoner is here from Oregon to work with us for the next 2 years.

CELBRATING LATE THE INCARNATE (Christmas)

In Mexico "Navidad" which means birth is a tradition mostly celebrated on Christmas Eve = Noche Buena.  We  started about 10ish...(that's PM) and went till almost 2 AM.  Whitney's parents and our friends from Queretaro came to celebrate and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.

NEW YEAR FIESTA!

To celebrate the new year we had a big shin dig party at our church Horizonte with games, prizes and a chance to praise our Lord and ring in the new year.  Julian was in charge of games and introduced a few wild ones from back in the old school college days...and they loved it!

HORIZONTE YEAR END YOUTH DINNER

Global Grounds is now the official ministry center for the youth at our local church Horizonte!  We began the new era with a year end party with prizes, games, karaoke, ping pong and of course tacos!

SHOWING CHRIST ON CHRISTMAS

It is our heart to show the love of Jesus practically as well as spiritually so this year our married small group lead an effort to give food, toys, and clothing for the winter to kids in a very poor neighborhood in Queretaro.  Most of the families live in homes made of concrete, cardboard and spare wood parts.

DESPEDIDA FOR WHITNEY'S GIRLS

Whitney said goodbye (temporarily) to two of her disciples this December.  Alma Rosa is headed to Canada for a study abroad and Monica is back in the US finishing her degree until she graduates and comes back to work with us full-time (si Dios quiere).

HAPPY NEW YEAR & Thanks for your support
